DAY 2

Excursion ”Mystic Moscow” with the entrance to Alternate command post "Taganskii". It is located 65 meters under the center of Moscow there is a unique monument of Cold War – a secret huge bunker of the Ministry of Defense of USSR, designed to protect 500 people from the nuclear attack and give the life support for 25 days.

Excursion to Christ the Savior Cathedral.
It is impossible to miss the enormous golden building and remarkable structure of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior that is the largest cathedral in Russia. There is an iconostasis, unique by the composition, in the form of white-marmoreal octahedral chapel, topped with guilt hipped roof.

Night city tour “Raised Bridges”
It is one a wonderful excursion along embankments of the River Neva driving from one island of the city to another. During this excursion you’ll see various bridges of St. Petersburg including the most impressive ones such as the Palace Bridge, the Troitskiy Bridge, the Liteyniy Bridge and others. The unique thing about the bridges is that during the period of navigation along the Neva River every night at around 1 a.m. the bridges are drawn up to give the way for big ships.

Tour to Pushkin (Tsarskoe cello). The town of Pushkin, which was called Tsarskoye Selo until 1917, is 24 km (14.9 miles) south of St. Petersburg. It was the residence of the Tsars from the beginning of 18th century (from the mid-18th to the early 19th century palace and park complex were built, including the Catherine and Alexander Parks).

The State Hermitage occupies six magnificent buildings situated along the embankment of the River Neva, right in the heart of St Petersburg. The leading role in this unique architectural ensemble is lead by the Winter Palace, the residence of the Russian tsars that was built with the design of Francesco Bartolomeo Rastrelli in 1754-62. This ensemble, formed in the 18th and 19th centuries, is extended by the eastern wing of the General Staff building, the Menshikov Palace and the recently constructed Repository.

It is known by its churches, caves with ancient crypts, also museums such as museum of Historical Treasures and Jewelers, also the Museum of Ukrainian Decorative and Applied Art, the Museum of Miniatures etc.
